Lack of Personal Resilience can lead to poor outcomes with mental health and have an negative impact on our personal and professional lives.

In recent years, the world population has experienced higher levels of trauma, stress and anxiety. Referring to the Pandemic, the World Health Organisation says that the effect of losing a family member, limited mobility, physical social isolation, losing one’s job and fear of contagion may increase the vulnerability to poor mental health later in life.

There has never been a better time for individuals to develop their own ability to be more emotionally resilient.

Helping individuals focus on getting what they need in order to actively improve their mental wellbeing and thus be better placed to deal with difficult situations is the key reason as to why the Resilience Building Workshop has been launched.

This two hour evening workshop is for anyone who would like to feel more empowered to manage difficult emotional situations and interactions with others. This two hour workshop will be a fun and interactive exploration into one’s own resilience.

About the Resilience Building Workshop With John Hicks.

A two hour workshop where attendees can explore the topic of resilience in a safe, encouraging and supportive space in a location close to or in Cambridge, UK.

Attendees will gain the following from this workshop:

  • A deeper understanding of what it means to be resilient,

  • How to be more confident in oneself during emotionally difficult times or in confrontational situations,

  • How to leverage better outcomes from the most difficult of situations.

• Understanding factors that reduce Personal Resilience such as stress, tension, anxiety, trauma and secondary trauma.

• How to improve our own personal resilience.

• Exploring ways to support colleagues who are less personally resilient.

• My Personalised Resilience Action Plan: What do I need to put in place to improve my own Personal Resilience?

About the trainer.

John Hicks, has delivered training and performance coaching to professionals in industry for 11 years and is also an accredited therapeutic counsellor as well as being a Mental Health First Aider.

John has a passion for holistically helping individuals and teams discover and utilise their intrinsic resources that will enable them to function at their best and deliver positive outcomes personally and within their organisations.
