Therapeutic Counselling

With

John Hicks.

If your confidence is being held back by the impact of anxiety, depression, grief or by being Neurodivergent, then I believe that I can help you.

Welcome!

Congratulations on taking the first step in addressing your emotional pain.

It can feel quite lonely when we feel that we cannot talk with someone about what is bothering us. When we are struggling alone then our confidence takes a hit and then we feel less able to achieve our own goals in life.

If you feel like this, then I am so glad that you are considering partnering with a therapeutic counsellor to help you to address that pain and stop feeling held back in life.

Clients come to me to support them in building their sense of confidence and resilience when experiencing emotional challenges associated with:

  • Anxiety and stress,

  • Neurodiversity (specifically the emotional impact of Dyslexia, ADD/ADHD and Autistic Spectrum Disorder).

  • Parenting.

  • Bereavement and loss.

  • Developing careers.

  • Poor self-esteem.

  • Depression.

  • Managing relationships.

Let me tell you a bit about me.

Hello, I am John Hicks, a Cambridgeshire based Therapeutic Counsellor.

I help my clients to better understand themselves, become more skilful at managing emotional difficulty and be more confident in their everyday lives.

I absolutely believe that you have what it takes to create positive change, even if you don’t believe that for yourself right now.

I invite you to get in touch and have a chat to see if my work could be useful to you.
